TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR IN-PERSON BREATHWORK SESSIONS, WORKSHOPS, AND WELLNESS CIRCUIT EVENTS

Effective Date: April 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or participating in an in-person breathwork session, workshop, or wellness circuit event (each, a "Session" or "Event") facilitated by tellent Services Incorporated ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Participant") acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from participating.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of changes via email or updates on our website. Continued participation in Sessions after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

Our in-person Sessions may include any or all of the following elements:

  • Guided breathwork practices (including patterned, diaphragmatic, and other controlled-breathing techniques)
  • Sauna
  • Cold water immersion (cold plunge)
  • Hot tub or warm water bathing
  • Fire circle or outdoor fire pit
  • Light refreshments
  • Group discussion and integration

Sessions are designed for general wellness, relaxation, stress management, and nervous system regulation. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional healthcare advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Breathwork and thermal contrast practices may induce physical and emotional responses, including but not limited to changes in heart rate or blood pressure, lightheadedness, tingling, temporary numbness, muscle contraction (tetany), fainting, emotional release, or altered states of awareness. Participants are responsible for monitoring their own responses and stopping any practice that feels unsafe.

If you have any medical conditions, you must consult a licensed healthcare provider before participating.

3. Inherent Risks and Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that participation in in-person Sessions involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

  • Breathwork risks: Changes in heart rate or blood pressure, hyperventilation, tetany, fainting, anxiety, panic, strong emotional response, and in rare cases, seizure activity.
  • Sauna risks: Overheating, dehydration, fainting, burns from hot surfaces, and aggravation of cardiovascular conditions.
  • Cold plunge risks: Cold shock response, hyperventilation on entry, temporary loss of breath control, hypothermia with extended exposure, cardiovascular stress, and cardiac arrhythmia — especially in individuals with underlying heart conditions.
  • Hot tub risks: Overheating, cardiovascular stress, and drowning risk if impaired or unwell.
  • Fire pit risks: Burns and eye irritation from smoke.
  • Slip, trip, and fall risks: Wet decking, outdoor surfaces, uneven terrain, and transitions between stations.
  • Combined risks: Rapid contrast between hot and cold environments places significant demands on the cardiovascular system. Participants with undiagnosed or untreated heart conditions may be at elevated risk.

By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

4. Participant Responsibility and Health Warranties

By joining the Session, you represent and warrant that:

✔ You are at least 18 years old, or you are participating with written consent from a parent or legal guardian, which you have disclosed to the Company in advance.

✔ You are in generally good health and have disclosed to the Company, in writing (via the pre-event health intake email or other means), any medical conditions that could be negatively impacted by breathwork, sauna, cold immersion, hot tub, or combined thermal exposure, including but not limited to:

  • Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
  • Epilepsy or history of seizures
  • Cardiovascular conditions (heart disease, arrhythmia, uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, pacemaker, history of heart attack or stroke)
  • Severe asthma, COPD, or other respiratory conditions
  • Recent surgery, injury, or active medical treatment
  • Acute or active mental health conditions that may be affected by intense physical or emotional experiences
  • Use of medications that may affect cardiovascular, respiratory, or neurological response (including blood thinners, heart medications, antipsychotics, or other relevant drugs)
  • Any other condition a reasonable person would consider relevant to the activities described in Section 2

✔ You will not consume alcohol, cannabis, or other impairing substances before or during the Session, and you will not attend if you are impaired.

✔ You will listen to your body and stop immediately if you experience discomfort, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, or any adverse effects. You will notify the facilitator without delay if anything concerning arises.

✔ You acknowledge that breathwork and thermal contrast can trigger strong physical and emotional responses, and you are responsible for your own well-being before, during, and after the Session.

✔ You understand that your participation in every element of the Session is voluntary. You may opt out of any individual element (for example, cold plunge) at any time without penalty.

✔ You will follow all instructions given by the facilitator, including instructions about entry and exit from sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub; safe conduct around fire; and behaviour that supports the safety of yourself and others.

5. Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and discharge the Company, its affiliates, employees, facilitators, contractors, and the owners or occupiers of any premises where a Session is held from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), or causes of action of any kind arising from or in any way connected to your participation in the Session, whether caused by the negligence of the Company or otherwise, to the extent permitted by Ontario law.

Under no circumstances shall the Company or its representatives be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from participation.

By participating, you acknowledge the inherent risks described in Section 3 and accept full responsibility for any consequences related to your participation, including those arising from participation at a private residence or other in-person venue.

6. On-Site Conduct and Premises

✔ You agree to arrive on time, behave respectfully toward the facilitator and other Participants, and follow all instructions given at the Session.

✔ You acknowledge that Sessions may take place at a private residence or other private venue. You agree to respect the property, including furnishings, amenities, and outdoor equipment. You will be responsible for any damage you cause to the premises through negligent or intentional conduct.

✔ You agree to keep personal belongings secure. The Company is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought to the Session.

✔ You acknowledge that outdoor elements (sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, fire pit, and any associated platforms, decking, or equipment) involve physical hazards including heat, cold, water, and open flame. You agree to use all equipment only as directed by the facilitator.

✔ You will not bring children, additional guests, or pets to the Session unless expressly agreed in writing in advance by the Company.

7. Photography, Recording, and Privacy

We respect your privacy and will take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Given the in-person group nature of Sessions, absolute privacy cannot be guaranteed.

By participating, you agree that:

✔ You will not photograph, film, or audio-record any Participant without their explicit consent, and you will not publish any image of another Participant without their consent.

✔ You acknowledge that the Company may, from time to time, take photographs or short videos at Sessions for documentation, promotional, or training purposes. You will be asked for explicit consent before any image in which you can be identified is used publicly. You may withdraw such consent in writing at any time by emailing the Company.

✔ You acknowledge that other Participants may discuss their own experiences. While confidentiality is encouraged as a group norm, the Company cannot guarantee that other Participants will maintain confidentiality of what is shared in group settings.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

✔ Cancellations must be made at least one week before the scheduled Session to be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

✔ Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the original Session.

✔ No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late cancellations unless otherwise specified.

✔ If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation request.

✔ If the Company cancels a Session (due to weather, illness, facility issue, or other unforeseen circumstance), you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided in the Session — including but not limited to teaching materials, handouts, recordings, exercises, and techniques — is the exclusive property of the Company.

By participating, you agree that:

✔ You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.

✔ Materials provided are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use.

Unauthorized use or reproduction of any materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

10. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via email or posted updates on our website. Continued participation after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or participation in the Sessions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Ontario.

The Full Reset

Breathwork. Sauna. Cold plunge. Fire.

An evening under the stars in Thornbury.

How your evening unfolds

You’ll arrive to music and firelight in the studio. From there, the evening unfolds.

We’ll move gently through a guided circuit:

  Breathwork by the fireplace.
We’ll start inside, in the studio, by the gas fireplace. A 30-minute guided session to bring you into your body and out of your head. Music-backed, eyes closed, lying down. No experience needed.

  Sauna.
We'll move outside where a
wood-heated portable sauna waits to open everything up. Let the warmth do the work.

  Cold plunge.
Quick, optional, and fully supported. 30 seconds to a minute. You’ll be guided through it with breath — and you’ll feel incredible after.

  Hot tub.
Warm back up. Let your body settle. This is where the real reset happens.

  Fire.
We’ll close the evening outside, around the fire pit, with a warm drink, good conversation, and the night sky overhead.

You don’t need to do every station. You don’t need to be brave. You just need to come.
