1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how tellent Services Incorporated ('we', 'us', or 'our') collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website, purchase or use our digital programs (including Regulation Reset and other Exhale Sessions products under the Expansion Journey brand), attend our events, or otherwise interact with us.

We are based in Thornbury, Ontario, Canada, and handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable laws.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email address, and contact details
  • Billing information and purchase history (full payment card details are processed by our payment provider, not stored by us โ€” see Section 4)
  • Information you submit through forms, surveys, event registrations, or when you email us
  • Any content you choose to share with us (for example, replies to our emails, or testimonials)

Information collected automatically when you use our site:

  • Device and browser information, IP address, and general location
  • Pages visited, links clicked, and how you interact with our content and emails
  • Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)

If you attend a session or call with us: We may record and transcribe live or virtual sessions, workshops, and calls (for example, using Fathom) for our notes, follow-up, and to improve our work. We may also use AI tools (such as Anthropic's Claude) to help summarize and organize those notes. We'll let you know when a session is being recorded; if you'd prefer not to be recorded, let us know.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Deliver the programs, content, and events you purchase or sign up for
  • Process payments and send receipts and account information
  • Send you emails you've opted into, including welcome sequences, updates, and offers
  • Respond to your questions and provide support
  • Improve our content, website, and services
  • Measure and improve our marketing, including advertising
  • Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations

We rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, and on our legitimate business interests and contractual necessity to deliver and support the products you purchase.

4. How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed, including:

  • Our website and course platform (Kajabi), which hosts our site, checkout, courses, and email tools
  • Payment processors (Kajabi Payments and PayPal), which securely handle payment transactions
  • Form and e-signature tools (such as Jotform), which collect form submissions and signed waiver or consent forms
  • Session recording and transcription tools (such as Fathom), which record and transcribe live or virtual sessions and calls
  • AI tools (such as Anthropic's Claude), which we use to help summarize, organize, and analyze information โ€” which may include notes and session transcripts
  • Email and analytics providers, which help us deliver and measure our communications
  • Advertising partners (such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and any Meta or Google advertising tools we use), which help us measure and deliver advertising

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business sale or reorganization. Where reasonable, we require these providers to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including our platform and payment processors) store and process data on servers located in the United States or other countries. Where your information is transferred outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of those countries. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising and retargeting (including the LinkedIn Insight Tag). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

7. Email marketing and your choices

If you opt in, we'll send you emails relevant to our programs and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. We'll still send you essential, non-promotional messages related to purchases you've made (such as receipts and access information).

8. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your access to products you've purchased, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. When it's no longer needed, we take steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information, where appropriate
  • Withdraw your consent to marketing or non-essential processing
  • Make a complaint to a privacy regulator (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada)

11. Children's privacy

Our programs and website are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

Our site and emails may link to third-party websites we don't control. This Policy doesn't apply to those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
