In today's fast-paced world, feeling tired and overwhelmed has become the norm for many of us. Balancing work, parenting, and other commitments leaves little time for self-care, leading to a near constant state of fatigue and sluggishness that many of us just accept as part of life.

Location: Beam Light Studios, Thornbury, ON. 

Wednesday 12th June. Session One. Delve into the fundamentals of breath awareness and mechanics, establishing a baseline for our journey together.  Experience a state of calm and relaxation through a guided breath session. 

Wednesday 19th June. Session Two. Gain insights into your autonomic nervous system and learn techniques for regulating breath to achieve balance and well-being. Experience and harness the full potential of your breath through a guided breath session. 

Wednesday 26th June. Session ThreeTake away tools to apply your newfound awareness and knowledge in your daily life for sustained health and well-being. Experience a guided breath work session to support your on-going health goals.

 What is Breathwork? 

 

It's intentional breathing, where you focus on the rate, depth, and rhythm of your breath to affect how you feel. By examining your default breathing patterns, you can understand their impact on everything from mood to sleep. With breathwork, you learn to influence your nervous system, regulating automatic bodily functions from the top down rather than being driven solely by external factors.

 

Why Focus on Breathwork? 


Think of your breath like a remote control for your nervous system. You can use it to reduce stress by activating the body's relaxation response, enhance mental clarity and focus by improving oxygen flow to the brain, and promote emotional well-being by facilitating emotional regulation and resilience. It also supports physical health by optimizing respiratory function, boosting immune system function, and managing symptoms of conditions such as asthma and chronic pain. Your breath is the bridge between your conscious and subconscious mind. Learning to integrate breathwork into your daily routine can lead to so many benefits for your overall health and well-being. 

How it Works


Unlike other autonomic functions, breathing serves as a bridge between the conscious mind and the nervous system. By modulating your breath, you can influence heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and more. This self-awareness reveals embedded patterns and offers a pathway to change. With just 10-15 minutes a day, you can transform old habits and discover new possibilities.

Jenny is a SHERPA level II certified breath worker and cold plunge instructor. She is currently working on her second certification through The Language of Breath. Specializing in guiding individuals towards holistic wellness, she empowers clients to rediscover their breath as a pathway to enhanced health, well-being, and authenticity through personalized and group learning journeys.
